The dress is best described by Vera herself as a romantic gown with a one-shoulder bodice of ruched French tulle, with a frothy flange skirt made with layers of hand-painted tulle and tissue organza in shades of blush, ivory, and platinum. There is a small train, which I secured with a simple button (under) bustle after the ceremony.
The dress was bought brand new at Neiman Marcus in Dallas, where it also received two rounds of professional alterations. It has only been worn once for 5 hours (no bridals), and the entire wedding took place indoors. A few pictures were snapped outside in between the ceremony and reception.
This gown is very light, comfortable, and flattering. I received SO many compliments on such a unique and gorgeous dress. I felt so beautiful and radiant, and it showed through in our wedding photos. This is truly a masterpiece - you will not be disappointed in the form, fit, or detailing.
