I love vintage but struggled to find a vintage gown (I love 20-40's time period) that did not look dated or damaged. When I tried this dress on, I knew my search was over. It was perfect, timeless, and flawless. Ideal fit for this dress is 35-27-36. I'm a 34-26-38 and I think it would look even better on a bride with smaller hips. My height with shoes was 5'7.

Dina Bar-El gowns are made exclusively in the United States and have been worn by celebrities in movies and on the red carpet. Please check out her website for more info. That being said, I do not believe this was meant to be a wedding dress. I wore it with a long Pronovias veil and everyone was blown away (especially my husband). For the outdoor pictures (our wedding was in November) I wore a fur shrug.

This dress is made out of very fine silk. It has a cowl neck and a mermaid bottom. The dress is lined with a single layer of silk fabric down to where it flares, this fit is extremely flattering. There is just a little train and I held it in my hand during the first dance and for some pictures. For dancing, I wore Melinda Eng (will be up for sale shortly). The dress looked very elegant and classy. It was also COMFORTABLE and I was able to wear a low rise bra with in without a problem. You will need spanks underwear otherwise it will show through.

Original price was 1200, this dress is in mint condition. It's been dry cleaned and steamed. You will need to steam it again yourself before the wedding.

We got married at an Episcopal church and our venue was an upscale restaurant. I loved the dress and think it would work for any space. It is modest and yet very sexy. More pics are available upon request.
